We hate to say it, but the facts speak for themselves: Joe Jonas solo career off to a bad start.
In the first week of sales, Joe's first solo album, "the Fastlife," sold just 18,000 copies, landed him in place of 15 on the Billboard 200. In comparison, the last CD Jonas compiled with his brothers, "A Little Bit Longer," moving 525,000 copies in the same period of time. Ouch.
Nick Jonas, meanwhile, also jumped into the solo career last year (with his band, The Administration, that is) and selling 82,000 copies of the "Who I am." Double Ouch.
"Changing careers to become worthy adults enthralled teenhood is probably one of the entertainment industry's most difficult achievement," wrote Julianne Escobedo Shepherd Billboard in the week. "For every Justin Timberlake, there are 10 members of the former Aaron disinterest post-group which caused them to close their hats."
Joe can be recovered from a rough opening this week? Or will we next see him on stage with his brother? Stay Tuned, THGers. Stay Tuned.
